April 28-29, 2017 – 65th North Dakota State Square and Round Dance Convention, Fargo, Caller Curt Braffet. Nine squares were present Friday evening, 7 squares Saturday afternoon, and 11 squares Saturday evening. Dancers from Illinois, Manitoba, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin were present.
April 27, 2017 – Valley Stars Square Dance, Grand Forks, Caller Charley Huhtala. Dancers from Minnesota and North Dakota were present.
April 26, 2017 – ETTA Square & Rounds Square Dance, St Cloud, Caller Tom Allen, Cuer Sarah Klaphake. Three squares (see photo above) with dancers from County Line Squares and ETTA Square & Rounds were present.
April 25, 2017 – County Line Squares Square Dance Demo at Park Terrace Assisted Living, Buffalo, Caller Abe Maier. Seventeen County Line Squares and Spares & Pairs dancers were present for the volunteer appreciation.
April 22, 2017 – South Metro Stars “Spring Flowers” Square Dance, Burnsville, Caller Noah Siegmann. Ten squares were present including dancers from Westonka Whirlers, F-M Square Dancers Association, Dan’se P.A.C., Spares & Pairs (see photo above), County Line Squares, Dakota Grand Squares, Square & Twirl, and South Metro Stars.

Also present were Spares & Pairs Queen Cathy and King Brad, County Line Squares Queen Susie and King Jim, Hot Foot Stompers Queen RoseMary, Single Circles Queen Carla, CSD Chair Vince Dahlheimer, CSD Secretary Ken Scott, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Historian Al Martin, and SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott. County Line Squares (see photo above) retrieved their banner and Westonka Whirlers claimed a Single Circles banner.
