April 12, 2017 – Spares & Pairs “Easter Parade” Square Dance, Bloomington, Caller Larry Fruetel, Cuer Robin Fryman.  Eight squares from eight organizations were present.  Also present were Ar-Dale Dancers Queen Marlene and King Roger, County Line Squares Queen Susie and King Jim, Spares & Pairs Queen Cathy and King Brad, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Treasurer Deb Hollimon, SDM Historian Al Martin, SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott and CSD Secretary Ken Scott.  County Line Squares (see photo above) retrieved their banner from Spares & Pairs.

April 8, 2017 – Koronis Nite Owls “Spring Flowers” Square Dance, Paynesville, Caller Charley Huhtala.  Four squares with dancers from County Line Squares, Jolly Twirlers, and Koronis Nite Owls were present.  County Line Squares claimed a Koronis Nite Owls banner (see photo above).

April 8, 2017 – Longevity Expo, Maple Grove Community Center “ABC” square dance.  Four squares of dancers participated in the EXPO, covering seven hours of continuous dancing, and let the world see and experience firsthand how much fun can be had while square dancing.

April 7, 2017 – County Line Squares “Bunny Hop” Square Dance, Monticello, Caller Larry Fruetel, Cuer Sarah Klaphake.  Six squares from Westonka Whirlers, Spares & Pairs, Single Circles, Koronis Nite Owls, Hot Foot Stompers, and County Line Squares were present.  Also present were County Line Squares Queen Helen and King Steve who crowned the new royalty – Queen Susie and King Jim.  Also attending were SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Treasurer Deb Hollimon, and SDM Historian Al Martin.  Spares & Pairs claimed a County Line Squares banner (see photo above).

April 5, 2017 – Beaux & Belles “Birthday Cake” Square Dance, St Cloud, Caller Tom Allen.  Three squares with dancers from County Line Squares (see photo above) and Beaux & Belles were present.

April 2, 2017 – St Peter Squares “Spring Fling” Square Dance, St Peter, Callers Larry Fruetel, Wayne Kubicek, Abe Maier, Dick Severson, Tom Allen, Brian Freed, Mike Driscoll, Dan Bebernes, and Bob Maiden, Cuers Leora Murphy and Doug Kyte.  Fourteen squares were present with dancers from many organizations.  Dance started with a bagpiper led procession to form the beginning squares (see photo above).

March 31, 2017 – County Line Squares “40th Anniversary” Square Dance, Monticello, Caller Abe Maier, Cuer Sarah Klaphake, Guest Callers Tom Allen, Andy Flint, and Mike Driscoll, Guest Cuer Jane Simpson.  Twenty-six squares with dancers from Afternoon Squares, Ar-Dale Dancers, Beaux & Belles, Bloomington Swirlers, Cambridge Corners, County Line Squares (see photo above), Crystal Cross Trailers, Dakota Grand Squares, Dan’se P.A.C., Friendly Squares, Hot Foot Stompers, Jolly Promenaders, Jolly Twirlers, Koronis Nite Owls, Rockin’ Country Dancers, Single Circles, South Metro Stars, Spares & Pairs, TMF Plus, Wandering Wheels, and Westonka Whirlers were present.  Also present were County Line Squares King Steve, Spares & Pairs Queen Evonne and King Clem, Westonka Whirlers Queen Katy and King Mark, CSD Chair Vince Dahlheimer, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Secretary Mary Kay Amberg, and SDM Historian Al Martin.

March 29, 2017 – Carefree Assisted Living Square Dance Demo, Burnsville, Caller Mike Driscoll.  We had a mini-square dance.  Even if small in numbers, the residents still enjoyed the music and dancing!

March 26, 2017 – Sunday Squares Square Dance, Richfield, Caller Brian Freed.  Three and one-half squares were present.  Spares & Pairs (see photo above) and Bloomington Swirlers claimed Sunday Squares banners.
