December 31, 2016 – County Line Squares “Hawaiian – New Year’s Eve” Square Dance, Monticello, Caller Abe Maier, Cuer Jane Simpson.  Eleven squares with dancers from Cambridge Corners, County Line Squares, Dakota Grand Squares, Hi! Neighbors (Spring Lake, MI), Hot Foot Stompers, Single Circles, Spares & Pairs, Wandering Wheels, and Westonka Whirlers were present.  Also present were Dakota Grand Squares Queen Becky, Single Circles Queen Carla, Spares & Pairs Queen Evonne and King Clem, County Line Squares Queen Helen and King Steve, Come Square Dance Vince Dahlheimer, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, and SDM Historian Al Martin.

December 28, 2016 – Spares & Pairs “Graduation” Square Dance, Bloomington, Caller Dick Rueter, Guest Caller Monte Guenzler, Cuer Robin Fryman.  Graduates along with eight squares with dancers from ten organizations were present.  Also present were Spares & Pairs Queen Evonne and King Clem, CSD Secretary Ken Scott, SDM Secretary Mary Kay Amberg, SDM Treasurer Deb Hollimon, and SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann.

December 21, 2016 – Spares & Pairs “Jingle Bell Jubilee” Square Dance, Bloomington, Caller Dick Rueter, Cuer Robin Fryman.  Spares & Pairs celebrated their Jingle Bell Jubilee Christmas Dinner and Dance with 8 1/2 squares.  Santa’s helpers delivered many gifts.

December 21, 2016 – Beaux & Belles “Christmas” Square Dance, St Cloud, Caller Tom Allen.  Five squares with dancers from County Line Squares (pictured above) and Beaux & Belles were present.

December 16, 2016 – Single Circles “Minnesota Merry Christmas” Square Dance, Maple Grove, Caller Abe Maier, Cuer Jane Simpson.  Some fun-loving Minnesota dancers who came to dance on a cold and snowy evening.  Plenty of food, lots of laughs, even danced the Macarena.  All made it home safely.

December 11, 2016 – Single Circles “ABC” Square Dance, St Paul, Caller Jane Simpson.  Square dance with international new dancers held at the Commonwealth Terrace Coop Community Center.
