August 20, 2016 – Pine Island Square Dance ABC Barn Dance fundraiser for a church ministry, Pine Island, Caller Monte Guenzler.
August 5, 2016 – Steele County Fair Square Dance Demo, Owatonna, Caller Wayne Kubicek. Wayne, Betty, and Steele Steppers want to thank all the dancers who attended and persevered at the fair dance on Friday. As people scattered when the inevitable rain came, we were not able to express our appreciation to all for their attendance. The photos depict most of the “survivors” who faithfully stood by and helped protect and salvage our equipment. The photos prove that rain cannot dampen a dancer’s attitude nor enthusiasm.
