May 13, 2016 – County Line Squares “Black Cat” Square Dance, Monticello, Caller Abe Maier, Cuer Sarah Klaphake.  Eight squares with dancers from Spares & Pairs, Single Circles, Koronis Nite Owls, County Line Squares, and Beaux & Belles were present.  Attending the dance were Spares & Pairs Queen Evonne and King Clem.

May 11, 2016 – Spares & Pairs “Bluegrass concert and music during the dance by Timbre Junction” Square Dance, Bloomington, Caller Dick Rueter, Cuers Jean and Steve Philson.  Ten squares were present.  Spares & Pairs Queen Evonne and King Clem, Ar-Dale Dancers Queen Beth and King Andy, Dakota Grand Squares Queen Becky, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Vice Chair Don Hanson, and SDM Secretary Mary Kay Amberg were present.

May 6, 2016 – Minnetonka High School Demo Square Dance, Minnetonka, Caller Dick Rueter.  Twenty-five square dancers from the metro area helped teach the classroom of special students.

May 4, 2016 – Beaux & Belles “Cinco de Mayo” Square Dance, St Cloud, Caller Myron Hollatz, Cuer Sarah Klaphake.  Five squares with dancers from Rockin’ Country Dancers, County Line Squares, and Beaux and Belles were present.  County Line Squares claimed a Beaux & Belles banner.

May 1, 2016 – Rays Promenaders “Paul Bunyan Jamboree” Square Dance, Baxter, Callers Larry Johansen, Royce Nelson, Phil Miller, Abe Maier, Rich Miller, and Myron Hollatz; Cuer Donna Stone.  Ten squares with dancers from Wadena Whirlaways, Rockin’ Country Dancers, County Line Squares, Spares & Pairs, Ar-Dale Dancers, Hot Foot Stompers, Rays Promenaders, ‘Tasca Twirlers, Friendly Squares, First City Squares, Kato Plus, Rum River Squares, Beaux & Bells, and Koronis Nite Owls were present.  Also attending were Spares & Pairs Queen Evonne and King Clem, Ar-Dale Dancers Queen Beth and King Andy, USDA Plains Region Vice Presidents Judy and Floyd Engelhardt, and SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann.

April 23, 2016 – Ar-Dale Dancers hosted the royalty luncheon at Gulden’s Restaurant.  Entertainment was provided by Ventriloquist Kevin Doely.  Westonka Whirlers Queen Deb Quant won the traveling royalty banner.
