January 28, 2022 – Gospel Plus Square Dance, Hopkins, Caller Tom Allen, Cuer Sarah Klaphake.  Ar-Dale Dancers, County Line Squares, Dakota Squares, Hotfoot Stompers, Spares & Pairs, and Westonka Whirlers danced with Gospel Plus.  County Line Squares Queen Char and King Bill, Hotfoot Stompers Queen Sharon, Westonka Whirlers Queen Jennifer and King Barry, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Treasurer Gael Zachman, SDM Historian Al Martin, SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott, and SDM Membership Director Mary Kay Amberg were present.

January 27, 2022 – Wadena Whirlaways “Hawaiian” Square Dance, Staples, Caller Abe Maier.  Dancers from County Line Squares, Friendly Squares, L & M Squares, Rays Promenaders, and  Rockin’ Country Dancers danced with Wadena Whirlaways.  Live-Lively “Septuagenarian” awards were presented to Geri (see photo above) and Amy (see photo below) by SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann.  Also present were SDM Treasurer Gael Zachman and SDM Education Director Audrey Boyd.

January 23, 2022 – Dakota Squares Square Dance, West St Paul, Caller Larry Fruetel.  Westonka Whirlers retrieved their banner (see photo above) and Hotfoot Stompers claimed a Dakota Squares banner (see photo below).

January 23, 2022 – Koronis Nite Owls Square Dance, Paynesville, Caller Tom Allen.  Cambridge Corners, County Line Squares, and Rockin’ Country Dancers danced with Koronis Nite Owls.  Rockin’ Country Daners retrieved their banner.

January 18, 2022 – Dakota Grand Squares “Graduation” Square Dance, Inver Grove Heights, Caller Bob Maiden.  Graduates include David Labarre, Marylee Heard, and Allen Nowacki.  Missing from the picture are Lorna Tsai, and Jim and Linda Lovel.

January 11, 2022 – Cambridge Corners “Graduation” Square Dance, Isanti, Caller Denise Heinz.  Graduation of three new dancers and one returning former dancer who brought her husband to learn to square dance!

January 19, 2022 – Beaux & Belles Square Dance, St Cloud, Caller Tom Allen.  Koronis Nite Owls and County Line Squares danced with Beaux & Belles.  County Line Squares claimed a Beaux & Belles banner.

January 17, 2022 – Westonka Whirlers “Intro to Square Dancing” Square Dance, Mound, Caller Tom Allen.  Seven squares with many “new dancers” were present.

January 16, 2022 – Westonka Whirlers “Winter Wonderland” Square Dance, Mound, Caller Larry Fruetel, Cuer Bernadette McNeil.  Dancers from Cambridge Corners, County Line Squares, Dakota Grand Squares, Dakota Squares, and Spares & Pairs danced with Westonka Whirlers.  Dakota Squares Queen Becky and King Jeff, Westonka Whirlers Queen Jennifer and King Barry, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Historian Al Martin, SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott, and SDM Membership Director Mary Kay Amberg were present.  Dakota Squares (see photo above) had enough present to claim a banner, but they already had one.
