Tom Allen was a bit surprised when he called “Spin the Top” and the dancers literally got down on the floor and spun the toy tops they were holding.

January 9, 2022 – Ar-Dale Dancers “Starry, Starry Night” Square Dance, White Bear Lake, Caller Larry Fruetel, Cuer Ken LaBau. Afternoon Squares, Cambridge Corners, County Line Squares, Dakota Grand Squares, Dakota Squares, Hotfoot Stompers, Spares & Pairs, and Westonka Whirlers danced with Ar-Dale Dancers (see photo above). Dakota Squares Queen Becky and King Jeff, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Historian Al Martin, and SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott were present.
January 8, 2022 – Hotfoot Stompers “Back to the 50’s” Square Dance, Coon Rapids, Caller Bryan Bush, Cuer Ken LaBau. Cambridge Corners, County Line Squares, Crystal Cross Trailers, Dan’se P.A.C., Friendly Twirlers, and Westonka Whirlers danced with Hotfoot Stompers. Cambridge Corners Queen Edna and King Lowell, County Line Squares Queen Char and King Bill, Hotfoot Stompers Queen Sharon, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Treasurer Gael Zachman, and SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott were present. County Line Squares (see above photo) earned a banner (but they already had one).
January 7, 2022 – Cambridge Corners “Beach Party/Hawaiian Potluck” Square Dance, Isanti, Caller Bryan Bush. Ar-Dale Dancers, County Line Squares, Friendly Twirlers, Spares & Pairs, and TMF Squares danced with Cambridge Corners. County Line Squares Queen Char and King Bill, Cambridge Corners Queen Edna and King Lowell, Federation Past President Brian Freed, Federation At-Large Paul Pearson and Connie Walker-Pearson, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, and SDM Treasurer Gael Zachman were present. County Line Squares (see photo above) earned a banner (but they already had one).
December 31, 2021 – County Line Squares “New Year’s Eve” Square Dance, Monticello, Caller Abe Maier, Guest Caller Tom Allen, Cuer Sarah Klaphake. Dancers from Ar-Dale Dancers, Beaux & Belles, Hotfoot Stompers, and Westonka Whirlers danced with County Line Squares. Beaux & Belles retrieved their banner (see photo above).

December 28, 2021 – Christmas Break Square Dance, Maple Lake, Caller Dan Sahlstrom. Dancers from Cambridge Corners, County Line Squares, Dan’se P.A.C., Hotfoot Stompers, Koronis Nite Owls, Lake Promenaders, and Spares & Pairs were present. Also present were callers Dan Bebernes and Myron Hollatz, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, and SDM Treasurer Gael Zachman.
