May 28-30, 2021 – Wandering Wheels “Patriotic” Square Dance, Isanti, Caller Tom Allen.  Approximately 19 squares of dancers from many area organizations danced with Wandering Wheels over the three day weekend.

March 14, 2020 – Koronis Nite Owls “Food Shelf Month” Square Dance, Paynesville, Caller Dean Dederman.  Dancers from Beaux & Belles, County Line Squares, Hotfoot Stompers, Jolly Twirlers, Rockin’ Country Dancers, Wadena Whirlaways, and Westonka Whirlers danced with Koronis Nite Owls.  County Line Squares Queen Carmen, Hotfoot Stompers Queen Danielle, SDM Vice Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott, and SDM Membership Director Mary Kay Amberg were present.  Beaux & Belles, Wadena Whirlaways (see photo above), and Westonka Whirlers claimed Koronis Nite Owls banners.  County Line Squares retrieved their banner.

The Koronis Nite Owls want to say thank you to our guests for their generosity in donating to our food shelf drive.  We collected $40.00 in cash along with the a nice selection of food.  Thanks to all who came to our dance.

March 13, 2020 – County Line Squares “Green Dance,”  Monticello, Caller Abe Maier, Cuer Ken LaBau.  Dancers from Ar-Dale Dancers, Jolly Promenaders, Jolly Twirlers, Hotfoot Stompers, Koronis Nite Owls, South Metro Stars, Spares & Pairs, and Westonka Whirlers joined the County Line Squares dancers.  Also present were Ar-Dale Dancers Queen Kathleen, County Line Squares Queen Carmen, Jolly Promenaders Queen Cindy and King Dan, SDM Vice Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Treasurer Gael Zachman, SDM Historian Al Martin, SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott, and SDM Membership Director Mary Kay Amberg.  Westonka Whirlers retrieved their banner (see photo above).

March 11, 2020 – Spares & Pairs “Wearin’ O the Green” Square Dance, Bloomington, Caller Larry Fruetel, Cuer Sarah Klaphake.  Dancers from Ar-Dale Dancers, County Line Squares, Dakota Squares, South Metro Stars, Spares & Pairs, and Westonka Whirlers were present.  Westonka Whirlers retrieved their banner (see photo above).  Also present were SDM Chair Barry Downs, SDM Vice Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Historian Al Martin, and SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott.

March 8, 2020 – Ar-Dale Dancers “Western” Square Dance, White Bear Lake, Caller Dean Dederman, Cuer Ken LaBau.  Almost ten squares enjoyed the afternoon dance, with Spares & Pairs (see photo above) and Westonka Whirlers claiming banners and Hotfoot Stompers retrieving their banner.

March 7, 2020 – SDM Plus Workshop/Review Square Dance, Mound, Caller Tom Allen.  More than five squares of dancers from Afternoon Squares, Ar-Dale Dancers, County Line Squares, Friendly Twirlers, Gospel Plus, South Metro Stars, Spares & Pairs, Triple T Squares, Westonka Whirlers, and two dancers from Wisconsin participated.

March 6, 2020 – South Metro Stars Square Dance, Burnsville, Caller Vic Diller.  Dancers from County Line Squares, Kaleidoscope Squares, Spares & Pairs, and Westonka Whirlers joined the South Metro Stars dancers (see photo above).  Also present were County Line Squares Queen Carmen, SDM Vice Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Historian Al Martin, SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott, and SDM Membership Director Mary Kay Amberg.
