August 9-12, 2018 – 59th Wisconsin Square and Round Dance Convention, Marshfield, Featured Caller Mike Hogan.  Six hundred eighteen dancers were present (some are in the photo above taken during the Sunday morning session) from Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Texas, Wisconsin, and Ontario, Canada.

August 8, 2018 – Spares & Pairs Square Dance, Bloomington, Caller Dick Rueter, Cuer Sarah Klaphake.  Dancers from Beaux & Belles, County Line Squares (see photo above), and Dakota Grand Squares joined the Spares & Pairs dancers.  Present were County Line Squares Queen Gael and King Doug, Spares & Pairs Queen Jennifer and King Barry, SDM Vice Chair Barry Downs, SDM Treasurer Gael Zachman, SDM Executive Director LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Historian Al Martin, SDM Membership Director Mary Kay Amberg, and RoundUp Assistant Editor Steve Huntsman.

August 3-5, 2018 – Granite Fest 2018, St Cloud, Callers Tom Allen, Jerry Junck, and Dick Rueter, Cuers Sarah Klaphake and Ken LaBau.  Dancers from Colorado, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Manitoba and Ontario, Canada were present – some of the Saturday night dancers appear in the photo above.

August 3, 2018 – Heritage Days Square Dance demo, Clearwater, Caller Abe Maier.  Two squares with dancers (see photo above) from Spares & Pairs and County Line Squares danced provided a square dance demonstration and danced with area royalty and other visitors.

July 29, 2018 – SDM Summer Festival Square Dance, St Cloud, Callers Tom Allen, Andy Flint, Larry Fruetel, Denise Heinz, and Charley Huhtala, Cuers Sarah Klaphake, Ken LaBau, and Donna Stone.  Square Dance Minnesota celebrated its fourth anniversary as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization at the festival.

Deb received a Certificate of Appreciation for four years service as a board member (treasurer).
