January 17, 2018 – Spares & Pairs “Graduation” Square Dance, Bloomington, Caller Larry Fruetel, Cuer Ray Belanger.  Six squares with dancers from County Line Squares, Dakota Grand Squares, South Metro Stars, Spares & Pairs, and Westonka Whirlers were present.  Also present were County Line Squares Queen Susie and King Jim, Dakota Grand Squares Queen Eileen and King Darwin, Spares & Pairs Queen Kathy and King Brad, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Treasurer Deb Hollimon, SDM Secretary Gael Zachman, SDM Education Director Barry Downs, SDM Historian Al Martin, SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott, SDM Membership Director Mary Kay Amberg, and the RoundUp Assistant Editor Steve Huntsman.  County Line Squares (see photo above) claimed a Spares & Pairs banner.

January 14, 2018 – Eagles Cancer Telethon, Mayo Civic Center – Rochester, Caller Wayne Kubicek.  Silver Treads (see photo above) brought two squares to donate funds and also dance three songs on the locally live-televised Eagles Cancer Telethon.  The entire crew, staff, and audience expressed very complimentary comments and marveled at how much fun they were having.  What a great experience and wonderful exposure.  Eagles Cancer Telethon

January 12, 2018 – Crystal Cross Trailers “Western Hoedown” Square Dance, Plymouth, Caller/Cuer Dan Sahlstrom.  Hot Foot Stompers (see photo above) danced with Crystal Cross Trailers.

January 14, 2018 – Mesa Spirit Square Dance, Callers Tom Allen, Jerry Junck, and Dick Rueter.  Fifteen and one half squares were present with many Minnesota square dancers (see photo above).

January 10, 2018 – Spares & Pairs “RoundUp Subscription” Square Dance, Bloomington, Caller Larry Fruetel, Cuer Ray Belanger.  Five squares with dancers from Westonka Whirlers, Sunday Squares, Spares & Pairs, Dakota Grand Squares, County Line Squares, and Ar-Dale Dancers were present.  Also present were Ar-Dale Dancers Queen Marlene and King Roger, County Line Squares Queen Susie, Dakota Grand Squares Queen Eileen and King Darwin, Federation Vice President Brian Freed, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Secretary Gael Zachman, SDM Treasurer Deb Hollimon, SDM Education Director Barry Downs, SDM Historian Al Martin, and SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott.  County Line Squares retrieved their banner (see photo above).
