Eleven squares with dancers from Ar-Dale Dancers, Beaux & Belles, Cambridge Corners, County Line Squares, Dakota Grand Squares, Dan’se P.A.C., Friendly Twirlers, Hot Foot Stompers, Rosetown Ramblers (Portland, OR), Single Circles, South Metro Stars, Spares & Pairs, and Westonka Whirlers were present. Also present were Ar-Dale Dancers Queen Marlene and King Roger, Spares & Pairs Queen Kathy and King Brad, Westonka Whirlers Queen Katy and King Mark, CSD Secretary Ken Scott, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Treasurer Deb Hollimon, SDM Secretary Gael Zachman, SDM Education Director Barry Downs, SDM Membership Director Mary Kay Amberg, and SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott.

Three squares with dancers from Kaleidoscope Squares, Steele Steppers, County Line Squares, and St Peter Squares were present (see photo above). December 10, 2017 – Ar-Dale Dancers “Santa Sashay” Square Dance, White Bear Lake, Callers Doug and Don Sprosty, Cuer Ken LaBau. Santa and his elf welcomed the Sprosty Twins (see photo above).

December 6, 2017 – Spares & Pairs “Used Clothing/Designer Bag Sale” Square Dance, Bloomington, Caller Dick Rueter, Cuer Ray Belanger. Westonka Whirlers (see photo above) danced with Spares & Pairs.
December 9, 2017 – “Basic” Blast Square Dance, Mound, Caller Dick Rueter. Altruistic angels and “new” dancers from eight organizations – Dakota Grand Squares, Ar-Dale Dancers, Single Circles, Cambridge Corners, Hot Foot Stompers, Spares & Pairs, South Metro Stars, and Westonka Whirlers – participated. Nine squares danced to the succinct yet entertaining teaching/calling by Dick Rueter. Thirty-three students and forty-nne angels enjoyed the fun, the fellowship, and six tables of food!
December 9, 2017 – Koronis Nite Owls “Christmas” Square Dance, Paynesville, Caller Larry Johansen. Four squares with dances from Rockin’ Country Dancers, Koronis Nite Owls, Jolly Twirlers, and County Line Squares were present. Also present were County Line Squares Queen Susie and King Jim, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, and SDM Secretary Gael Zachman. Rockin’ Country Dancers retrieved their banner (see photo above) and County Line Squares claimed a Koronis Nite Owls banner.
