Merrill Braaten celebrated his 85th birthday on the 24th, which was his actual birthday.  His wife Norene served a cake in his honor.

October 28, 2017 – South Metro Stars Square Dance, Burnsville, Caller Tom Allen.  Four squares with dancers from Ar-Dale Dancers, County Line Squares, Dan’se P.A.C., Hot Foot Stompers, Spares & Pairs, and Westonka Whirlers (see photo above) were present.  Also present were Spares & Pairs Queen Kathy and King Brad, CSD Secretary Ken Scott, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Historian Al Martin, SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott, and SDM Membership Director Mary Kay Amberg.

October 22, 2017 – Square & Twirl Square Dance, St Anthony, Caller Sandi Bryant.  Hot Foot Stompers claimed a Square & Twirl banner (see photo above).

October 21, 2017 – Westonka Whirlers “Pumpkin Patch” Square Dance, Mound, Caller Larry Fruetel, Cuer Ray Belanger.  Spares & Pairs claimed a Westonka Whirlers banner (see photo above).

October 20, 2017 – Single Circles Square Dance, Maple Grove, Caller Larry Johansen.  Hot Foot Stompers claimed a Single Circles banner (see photo above).

Westonka Whirlers were also present.

October 14, 2017 – Koronis Nite Owls “Halloween” Square Dance, Paynesville, Caller Brian Freed.  Dancers are in the photo above.

October 7, 2017 – Explosion of Color Square Dance, Branson, MO, Callers Tony Oxendine, Gary Shoemake,  Ken Bauer.  Ron, Barb, Vivian, and Ralph are pictured with the callers above.

October 22, 2017 – Sunday Squares Square Dance, Richfield, Caller Calvin Hollis, Cuer Ken LaBau.  Three squares were present to help Brian and Debbie Freed celebrate their 35th Wedding Anniversary.

October 21, 2017 – Knights of Columbus Square Dance Demo, Buffalo, Caller Abe Maier.  Three squares of angels and new dancers were present (see photo above).

October 14, 2017 – Friendly Twirlers “Pretty in Pink” Square Dance, Balsam Lake, Caller Mike Hogan.  Seven squares with the Ar-Dale Dancers claiming a Friendly Twirlers banner (see photo above).
