October 10, 2017 – L & M Squares “Breast Cancer Awareness” Square Dance, Fargo, Callers Roger McNeil and Charley Huhtala, Cuer Bernadette McNeil. L & M Squares raised $490 for Fargo-Moorhead (FM) Breast Friends. Proceeds were from a live auction, a silent auction, the dance fee and a match of the dance fee by the organization. October 15, 2017 – Rockin’ Country Dancers Square Dance, West Union, Caller Larry Johansen. Three squares with dancers from County Line Squares, Koronis Nite Owls, and Rockin’ Country Dancers were present (see photo above). County Line Squares claimed a Rockin’ Country Dancers banner.
October 11, 2017 – Spares & Pairs “Can” Square Dance, Bloomington, Caller Tom Allen, Cuer Robin Fryman. Seven squares with dancers from Westonka Whirlers, Square & Twirl, Spares & Pairs, South Metro Stars, Dakota Grand Squares, and County Line Squares were present. Also present were County Line Squares Queen Susie and King Jim, Dakota Grand Squares Queen Eileen and King Darwin, Spares & Pairs Queen Cathy and King Brad, CSD Secretary Ken Scott, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Treasurer Deb Holimon, SDM Secretary Gael Zachman, SDM Education Director Barry Downs, SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott, and SDM Membership Director Mary Kay Amberg. County Line Squares retrieved their banner from Spares & Pairs (see photo above).
