September 8, 2017 – Friendly Squares Square Dance, Park Rapids, Caller Larry Fruetel, Cuer Donna Stone. Three squares with dancers from Country Twirlers, County Line Squares, First City Squares, Friendly Squares, T’asca Twirlers, and Wadena Whirlaways were present. Friendly Squares charter member Ruth VanDeVenter and presidents Mike and Donna Stone were presented a certificate from SDM recognizing the organization’s 60th anniversary (see photo above).

September 6, 2017 – Beaux & Belles “Back to School” Square Dance, St Cloud, Caller Tom Allen. Four squares with dancers from County Line Squares and Beaux & Belles were present. County Line Squares claimed a Beaux & Belles banner (see photo above).
August 24-29, 2017 – Minnesota State Fair Demo Square Dances, St Paul, Callers Dick Rueter, Larry Fruetel, Monte Guenzler, and Andy Flint, with many dancers.
September 1-4, 2017 – Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion (WMSTR) Demo, Rollag, Callers Mark Helfter, Myron Hollatz, and Jim Lizakowski, Cuer Rita Lizakowski. Some of the dancers present on September 2 and 3 are in the photo above.
August 30, 2017 – Spares & Pairs Square Dance, Bloomington, Caller Dick Rueter, Cuer Ray Belanger. Seven squares with dancers from Afternoon Squares, County Line Squares, Dakota Grand Squares, Spares & Pairs, Square & Twirl, and Westonka Whirlers (see photo above) were present. Also present were SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Treasurer Deb Hollimon, SDM Secretary Gael Zachman, SDM Education Director Barry Downs, and SDM Historian Al Martin.

Five squares with dancers from Cambridge Corners, County Line Squares, Dakota Grand Squares, Friendly Twirlers, and Jolly Promenaders were present (see photo above).
