May 5, 2017 – County Line Squares “Country Roads” Square Dance, Monticello, Caller Abe Maier, Cuer Sarah Klaphake, Guest Caller Denise Heinz.  Nine squares with dancers from Westonka Whirlers, Wadena Whirlaways, Single Circles, Jolly Twirlers, Hot Foot Stompers, Friendly Twirlers, and County Line Squares were present.  Also present were Friendly Twirlers Queen Lisa, County Line Queen Susie and King Jim, CSD Chair Vince Dahlheimer, and SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann.  Friendly Twirlers retrieved their banner (see photo above).

May 3, 2017 – Beaux & Belles “Gone Fishing” Square Dance, St Cloud, Caller Abe Maier, Cuer Sarah Klaphake.  Six squares with dancers from County Line Squares, Hot Foot Stompers, Rockin’ Country Dancers, and Beaux & Belles were present (see photo above).  Also present were County Line Squares Queen Susie and King Jim.

April 28, 2017 – Gospel Plus Square Dance, Hopkins, Caller Tom Allen, Cuer Ken LaBau.  Hot Foot Stompers (see photo above) attended the dance.

April 28, 2017 – Westonka Whirlers Demo Square Dance, Schumann Elementary in Orono, Caller Larry Fruetel.   Students are studying the great U.S.A.  Part of their study is learning about the history and significance and technique of square dancing.

April 26, 2017 – Single Circles Square Dance Graduation, Maple Grove, Caller Abe Maier.  Nine new dancers (see photo above – four had schedule conflicts so are not pictured) – congratulations!

April 30, 2017 – Wadena Whirlaways Square Dance, Staples, Caller Larry Johansen.  Three squares with dancers from First City Squares, North Country Plus, Rays Promenaders, Friendly Squares, Wadena Whirlaways, County Line Squares, and South Metro Stars were present (see photo above).

April 28-29, 2017 – 65th North Dakota State Square and Round Dance Convention, Fargo, Caller Curt Braffet.  Nine squares were present Friday evening, 7 squares Saturday afternoon, and 11 squares Saturday evening.  Dancers from Illinois, Manitoba, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin were present.

April 27, 2017 – Valley Stars Square Dance, Grand Forks, Caller Charley Huhtala.  Dancers from Minnesota and North Dakota were present.

April 26, 2017 – ETTA Square & Rounds Square Dance, St Cloud, Caller Tom Allen, Cuer Sarah Klaphake.  Three squares (see photo above) with dancers from County Line Squares and ETTA Square & Rounds were present.

April 25, 2017 – County Line Squares Square Dance Demo at Park Terrace Assisted Living, Buffalo, Caller Abe Maier.  Seventeen County Line Squares and Spares & Pairs dancers were present for the volunteer appreciation.
