South Metro Stars

April 22, 2017 – South Metro Stars “Spring Flowers” Square Dance, Burnsville, Caller Noah Siegmann.  Ten squares were present including dancers from Westonka Whirlers, F-M Square Dancers Association, Dan’se P.A.C., Spares & Pairs (see photo above), County Line Squares, Dakota Grand Squares, Square & Twirl, and South Metro Stars.

Royalty Luncheon

April 22, 2017 – 2017 Royalty Luncheon, St Anthony,  Spares & Pairs Queen Evonne and King Clem (see photo above) received the Edythe Beard Traveling Royalty Banner Award for being the most active Queen and King.

Single Circles

April 21, 2017 – Single Circles “Meet the Royalty” Square Dance, Maple Grove, Caller Abe Maier, Cuer Sarah Klaphake.  Seven squares from six organizations were present.  Also present were Spares & Pairs Queen Cathy and King Brad, County Line Squares Queen Susie and King Jim, Hot Foot Stompers Queen RoseMary, Single Circles Queen Carla, CSD Chair Vince Dahlheimer, CSD Secretary Ken Scott, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Historian Al Martin, and SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott.  County Line Squares (see photo above) retrieved their banner and Westonka Whirlers claimed a Single Circles banner.

Beaux & Belles

April 19, 2017 – Beaux & Belles Square Dance, St Cloud, Caller Dick Severson, Cuer Sarah Klaphake.  Five squares with dancers from County Line Squares and Beaux & Belles were present.  County Line Squares (see photo above) claimed a Beaux & Belles banner.

April 15, 2017 – Westonka Whirlers “Western Night” Square Dance, Mound, Caller Monte Guenzler (see photo above), Cuer Ray Belanger, Guest Caller Larry Pfennig.  Seven squares were present with County Line Squares Queen Susie and King Jim, Westonka Whirlers Queen Katy and King Mark, USDA Plains Region Vice Presidents Judy and Floyd Engelhardt, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Historian Al Martin, and SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott.

April 12, 2017 – Spares & Pairs “Easter Parade” Square Dance, Bloomington, Caller Larry Fruetel, Cuer Robin Fryman.  Eight squares from eight organizations were present.  Also present were Ar-Dale Dancers Queen Marlene and King Roger, County Line Squares Queen Susie and King Jim, Spares & Pairs Queen Cathy and King Brad, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Treasurer Deb Hollimon, SDM Historian Al Martin, SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott and CSD Secretary Ken Scott.  County Line Squares (see photo above) retrieved their banner from Spares & Pairs.

Koronis Nite Owls

April 8, 2017 – Koronis Nite Owls “Spring Flowers” Square Dance, Paynesville, Caller Charley Huhtala.  Four squares with dancers from County Line Squares, Jolly Twirlers, and Koronis Nite Owls were present.  County Line Squares claimed a Koronis Nite Owls banner (see photo above).

Longevity Expo

April 8, 2017 – Longevity Expo, Maple Grove Community Center “ABC” square dance.  Four squares of dancers participated in the EXPO, covering seven hours of continuous dancing, and let the world see and experience firsthand how much fun can be had while square dancing.

County Line Squares

April 7, 2017 – County Line Squares “Bunny Hop” Square Dance, Monticello, Caller Larry Fruetel, Cuer Sarah Klaphake.  Six squares from Westonka Whirlers, Spares & Pairs, Single Circles, Koronis Nite Owls, Hot Foot Stompers, and County Line Squares were present.  Also present were County Line Squares Queen Helen and King Steve who crowned the new royalty – Queen Susie and King Jim.  Also attending were SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Treasurer Deb Hollimon, and SDM Historian Al Martin.  Spares & Pairs claimed a County Line Squares banner (see photo above).
