December 2, 2016 – County Line Squares “Polka Dot” Square Dance, Monticello, Caller Abe Maier, Cuer Ken LaBau.  Eight squares with dancers from Westonka Whirlers, Spares & Pairs, Single Circles, Rockin’ Country Dancers, Koronis Nite Owls, Dan’se P.A.C., Dakota Grand Squares, and County Line Squares were present.  Also present were Dakota Grand Squares Queen Becky, Spares & Pairs Queen Evonne and King Clem, Come Square Dance Chair Vince Dahlheimer, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Treasurer Deb Hollimon, and SDM Historian Al Martin.

Ar-Dale Dancers

November 13, 2016 – Ar-Dale Dancers “Salute to Our Veterans” Square Dance, White Bear Lake, Caller Lanny Weaklend, Cuer Ken LaBau.  It was another beautiful Sunday afternoon for our November dance.  Lanny had some great patriotic songs that he played and sang to!  Queens in attendance were Janet Sahlstrom from Dan’se P.A.C., Carla White from Single Circles, and our own Beth Boatz.  Members of the Kings Club included Gary Pfeifer, Al Martin, Ben Formanack, and our King Andy Hybben.  Other celebrities in attendance were SDM Secretary Mary Kay Amberg, SDM Historian Al Martin, Federation President Janet Sahlstrom, and guest caller Dan Sahlstrom.  We had 6 squares representing 12 clubs in attendance.
