December 1, 2017 – County Line Squares “Ice Cream Social and Gary’s 75th Birthday Celebration” Square Dance, Monticello, Caller Abe Maier, Guest Caller Tom Allen, Cuer Ken LaBau.  Fifteen squares with dancers from Beaux & Belles, County Line Squares, Dakota Grand Squares, Dan’se P.A.C., Hot Foot Stompers, Koronis Nite Owls, Single Circles, South Metro Stars, Spares & Pairs, Square & Twirl, and Westonka Whirlers were present.  Also present were 12 non-dancing guests who had an opportunity to try square dancing.  Dakota Grand Squares Queen Eileen and King Darwin, Square & Twirl Queen Patti and King Jerry, Spares & Pairs Queen Cathy and King Brad, Westonka Whirlers Queen Kathy and King Mark, Single Circles King Mel, County Line Squares Queen Susie and King Jim, CSD Chair Vince Dahlheimer, CSD Secretary Ken Scott, Federation At-Large Patti and Jerry Ellingson, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Secretary Gael Zachman, SDM Treasurer Deb Hollimon, SDM Education Director Barry Downs, SDM Historian Al Martin, SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott, and SDM Membership Director Mary Kay Amberg were also present.  Beaux & Belles (see photo above) and Spares & Pairs retrieved their banners and Hot Foot Stompers claimed a County Line Squares banner.
