Gospel Plus
September 24, 2021 – Gospel Plus “15th Anniversary” Square Dance, Hopkins, Callers Tom Allen and Dick Rueter, Cuer Ken LaBau. Dancers from Westonka Whirlers, Wandering Wheels, Spares & Pairs, South Metro Stars, Dakota Squares, Crystal Cross Trailers, County Line Squares, and Ar-Dale Dancers celebrated the anniversary with Gospel Plus. Ar-Dale Dancers Queen Carol, Hotfoot Stompers Queen Sharon, Westonka Whilers Queen Jennifer and King Barry, SDM Membership Director Mary Kay Amberg, SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott, SDM Historian Al Martin, SDM Treasurer Gael Zachman, and SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann were present.
Westonka Whirlers
September 18, 2021 – Westonka Whirlers “Welcome Back Dancers” Square Dance, Mound, Callers/Cuers Don and Doug Sprosty. Dancers from Ar-Dale Dancers, County Line Squares, Crystal Cross Trailers, Dakota Squares, Hotfoot Stompers, Kaleidoscope Squares, Single Circles, Spares & Pairs, and Valley Stars joined the Westonka Whirlers. Also present were Dakota Squares Queen Becky and King Jeff, Westonka Whirlers Queen Jennifer and King Barry, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Historian Al Martin, SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott, and SDM Membership Director Mary Kay Amberg. Over eight squares of dancers and visitors enjoyed the calling and cueing of Don and Doug Sprosty (see photo above) from the Quad Cities.

September 15, 2021 – Beaux & Belles Square Dance, St Cloud, Caller Dick Severson. Rockin’ Country Dancers, Hotfoot Stompers, Crystal Cross Trailers, and County Line Squares danced with Beaux & Belles. Hotfoot Stompers Queen Sharon, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, and SDM Treasurer Gael Zachman were present. (Some of the dancers departed before the photo was taken.)

September 12, 2021 – Ar-Dale Dancers “Royalty” Square Dance, White Bear Lake, Caller Dick Rueter, Cuer Ken LaBau. Westonka Whirlers claimed an Ar-Dale Dancers banner (see photo above). Carol and Louie Jaskulka are the Ar-Dale Dancers royalty for this year (see photo below).

September 11, 2021 – Koronis Nite Owls Square Dance, Paynesville, Caller Dean Dederman. Beaux & Belles, County Line Squares, Jolly Twirlers, Rockin’ Country Dancers, and Westonka Whirlers joined the Koronis Nite Owls dancers. Also present were Federation Vice President Myron Hollatz, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Treasurer Gael Zachman, SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott, and SDM Membership Director Mary Kay Amberg.
Linwood Days
September 11, 2021 – Linwood Days “150th Anniversary Celebration” Square Dance Demo, Stacy, Caller Dan Sahlstrom, organized by Jolly Promenaders. Linwood Township celebrated its 150th anniversary at this year’s Linwood Days. Square dancing was featured because dancing was one of the activities that was done back then. Several people gave square dancing a try during the audience participation portions.
County Line Squares
September 10, 2021 – County Line Squares “Welcome Back” Square Dance, Monticello, Caller Abe Maier, Guest Caller Tom Allen, Cuer Sarah Klaphake.
