April 8, 2019 – Girl Scouts Demo Square Dance, Monticello, Caller Abe Maier.  Seven squares of energetic girl scouts and angels danced at the demo (see photo above).

South Metro Stars

April 9, 2019 – South Metro Stars “Intro to Square Dancing” Square Dance, Burnsville, Caller Monte Guenzler.  Eighteen new dancers and 23 angels danced (see photo above).

Northern MN Heart Dance

April 7, 2019 – Northern Minnesota Square Dance for Heart, Waubun, Callers Roger McNeil, Charley Huhtala and Mark Helfter, Cuer Bernadette McNeil. Jessica from the American Heart Association accepting a check (see photo above) in the amount of $2,727.00 which were the proceeds from the benefit held by the Northwest Region.  Over seven squares of dancers raised the funds through donations, silent auction, and dinner.

Longevity Expo

April 6, 2019 – Maple Grove Community Center “ABC” square dancing at the Longevity Expo, Caller Roger McNeil,  Square dancing had a booth and room at the Expo. Let’s have a round of applause for the 52 square dancers who turned out to dance with the Expo attendees who wanted to try square dancing.  All ages tried square dancing at the Expo.

Rays Promenaders

April 5, 2019 – Rays Promenaders Square Dance, Brainerd, Caller Abe Maier.  Wadena Whirlaways, Rockin’ Country Dancers, Friendly Squares, and County Line Squares danced with Rays Promenaders (see photo above).  County Line Squares Queen Carmen, Square Dance Minnesota (SDM) Chair Linda Brotherton, SDM Treasurer Gael Zachman, SDM Secretary Linda Carlson, SDM Education Director Terry Orton, and SDM Executive Director LeRoy Elfmann were present.

April 5, 2019 – Single Circles “Blast to the Past” Square Dance, Maple Grove, Caller Roger McNeil, Cuer Bernadette McNeil.  County Line Squares (see photo above) and Hot Foot Stompers (see photo below) claimed  banners.

April 3, 2019 – Beaux & Belles Square Dance, St Cloud, Caller Larry Johansen.  Wadena Whirlaways, Koronis Nite Owls, and County Line Squares danced with Beaux & Belles (see photo above).  County Line Squares claimed a Beaux & Belles banner.

South Metro Stars

March 26, 2019 – South Metro Stars “ABC” Square Dance, Burnsville, Caller Larry Fruetel.  Almost four squares danced at the South Metro Stars ABC square dance (see photo above).

County Line Squares

March 29, 2019 – County Line Squares “Alzheimer’s Benefit” Square Dance, Monticello, Caller Abe Maier, Cuer Ken LaBau.  Dancers from Afternoon Squares, Ar-Dale Dancers, Beaux & Belles, Cambridge Corners, Crystal Cross Trailers, Dakota Grand Squares, Hot Foot Stompers, Jolly Twirlers, Koronis Nite Owls, Rockin’ Country Dancers, Single Circles, South Metro Stars, Spares & Pairs, TMF Squares, Triple T, Wadena Whirlaways, and Westonka Whirlers joined County Line Squares to raise $2,060 for donation to Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota-North Dakota.  Those attending the dance included Cambridge Corners King Arnie and Queen Edna, Hot Foot Stompers Queen Coni, Jolly Promenaders Queen Cindy and King Dan, Spares & Pairs Queen Jennifer and King Barry, County Line Squares Queen Gael and King Doug, RoundUp Editors Jeanine and Bob Maiden, RoundUp Advertising Manager Connie Walker-Pearson, RoundUp Business Managers Cindy and Dan Hoffman, RoundUp Subscription Manager and Enhancin’ Dancin’ Editor Paul Pearson, Callers Mike Driscoll and Bob Maiden, Square Dance Minnesota (SDM) Vice Chair Barry Downs, SDM Treasurer Gael Zachman, SDM Executive Director LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Historian Al Martin, SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott, and SDM Membership Director Mary Kay Amberg.  Cambridge Corners and Triple T claimed County Line Squares banenrs.  Spares & Pairs and Koronis Nite Owls already have a County Line Squares banner.  Beaux & Belles, Rockin’ Country Dancers, and Westonka Whirlers retrieved their banners.
