October 12, 2018 – County Line Squares “Autumn Leaves” Square Dance, Monticello, Caller Abe Maier, Cuer Jane Simpson.  Dancers from Ar-Dale Dancers, Beaux & Belles, Hot Foot Stompers, Koronis Nite Owls, and Westonka Whirlers joined County Line Squares.  Ar-Dale Dancers King Rick and County Line Squares Queen Gael and King Doug were present.  Also present were SDM Treasurer Gael Zachman, SDM Executive Director LeRoy Elfmann, and SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott.  Beaux & Belles retrieved their banner (see photo above).

October 9, 2018 – St. Peter Squares “Dancers’ Reunion” Square Dance, St. Peter, Caller Larry Fruetel.  A group of current and former St. Peter dancers danced for an hour for Gilbert Stuedemann and other residents at Oak Terrace in Gaylord.  Mary Hammer got this organized and of the almost 25 people who came, about 11 or 12 danced.  Some of those 11 or 12 had not danced in several years.  Jeannette Nelson was there also, at age 97 without a cane or walker!  She didn’t dance, though.  Her daughter said she’d remember the calls but wouldn’t be able to go fast enough.  The group brought potluck lunch and enjoyed visiting and looking at old pictures.

October 9, 2018 – L & M Squares “Chicken Dance” Square Dance, Fargo, Callers Roger McNeil and Charley Huhtala, Cuer Bernadette McNeil.  Ninth Breast Cancer Awareness Benefit with FM Breast Friends.  See photo above for check presentation to FM Breast Friends in the amount of $474.00 by the officers and callers of L & M Squares.

October 10, 2018 – Spares & Pairs Square Dance, Bloomington, Caller Larry Fruetel, Cuer Robin Fryman.  Ar-Dale Dancers, County Line Squares (see photo above), Dakota Grand Squares, Hot Foot Stompers, Square & Twirl, and Triple T danced with Spares & Pairs.  Royalty present was Spares & Pairs King Barry, others present were SDM Executive Director LeRoy Elfmann and SDM Vice Chair Barry Downs.

October 4, 2018 – Afternoon Squares Square Dance, Hopkins, Caller Abe Maier.  Single Circles danced with Afternoon Squares (see photo above).

September 30, 2018 – SDM Fall Festival Square Dance, St Cloud, Callers Tom Allen, Andy Flint, Abe Maier, and Roger McNeil, Cuers Ken LaBau and Bernadette McNeil (see photo above).  Dancers from Beaux & Belles, County Line Squares, ETTA Square & Rounds, Friendly Squares, Gospel Plus, Hot Foot Stompers, Koronis Nite Owls, L & M Squares, Rays Promenaders, Rockin’ Country Dancers, Saturday Fun Nite, Single Circles, South Metro Stars, Spares & Pairs, Wadena Whirlaways, and Westonka Whirlers were present.
