September 26, 2018 – Spares & Pairs “Western Night” Square Dance, Bloomington, Caller Dick Rueter, Cuer Robin Fryman.  Westonka Whirlers retrieved their banner from Spares and Pairs (some missed the photo).

September 22, 2018 –  Saturday Fun Nite Square Dance, Fargo, Caller Roger McNeil, Cuer Bernadette McNeil.  Dancers were from Country Twirlers, Circle 8 Plus, Valley Stars, Hot Foot Stompers, L & M Squares, and Saturday Fun Nite.  Front and center (holding the banner) are Gail and Dennis from Henryville, IN, who joined the dance.  They are dancing in all 50 states and North Dakota was #36!!

September 21, 2018 – Single Circles “Back to School” Square Dance, Maple Grove, Caller Dick Rueter, Cuer Jane Simpson.  Dancers from Westonka Whirlers, Spares & Pairs, Single Circles, Hot Foot Stompers, First City Squares, Dakota Grand Squares, Crystal Cross Trailers, and County Line Squares were present.  Also present were County Line Squares Queen Gael and King Doug, Hot Foot Stompers Queen Coni, SDM Treasurer Gael Zachman, SDM Executive Director LeRoy Elfmann, and SDM Historian Al Martin.  County Line Squares retrieved their banner (see photo above) and Hot Foot Stompers claimed a Single Circles banner (see photo below).

September 16, 2018 – Smoke Signals Charity Auto Show Square Dance Demo, Prior Lake, Caller Larry Fruetel.  South Metro Stars (some not in photo) and Larry Fruetel marketed square dancing.
