July 29, 2018 – SDM Summer Festival Square Dance, St Cloud, Callers Tom Allen, Andy Flint, Larry Fruetel, Denise Heinz, and Charley Huhtala, Cuers Sarah Klaphake, Ken LaBau, and Donna Stone.  Square Dance Minnesota celebrated its fourth anniversary as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization at the festival.

Lola received her Octogenarian Live Lively award.

Mavis received her Septuagenarian Live Lively award.

Willard was the Third Most-Active January-June dancer.

Don and Mavis were the second Most-Active January-June dancers.

Barry was the Most-Active January-June dancer.

Doug & Gael received their fifth Traveler award.

Sally and Ken received the 501(c)(3) letter certification for Gospel Plus.

Deb received a Certificate of Appreciation for four years service as a board member (treasurer).

July 26, 2018 – Wadena Whirlaways “Beach Party” Square Dance, Wadena, Caller Abe Maeir, Cuer Donna Stone.  Four squares with dancers (see photo above) County Line Squares, Friendly Squares, Rays Promenaders, and Wadena Whirlaways were present.  Also present were County Line Squares Queen Gael and King Doug, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Vice Chair Linda Brotherton, and SDM Secretary Gael Zachman.

July 25, 2018 – ETTA Square & Rounds Square Dance, St Cloud, Caller Tom Allen, Cuer Sarah Klaphake.  Two squares with dancers (see photo above) from County Line Squares and ETTA Square & Rounds were present.

July 22, 2018 – Wright County Fair Square Dance Demo, Howard Lake, Caller Abe Maier.  Three squares with dancers from Westonka Whirlers, Spares & Pairs, Hot Foot Stompers, and County Line Squares danced with royalty from the Wright County area (see photo above).

July 21, 2018 – Spirit of the Lakes Festival Parade (see photo above) and Annual ABC Beginner Square Dance, Mound, Caller Dick Rueter.

Spirit of the Lakes visitors stopped to square dance at the ABC dance Saturday afternoon.

July 20, 2018 – Westonka Whirlers “Red, White & Blue” Square Dance, Mound, Caller Dick Rueter, Guest Caller Larry Fruetel, Cuer Ray Belanger.  Seven squares with dancers from County Line Squares, Crystal Cross Trailers, Dakota Grand Squares, Grand Squares (Denver, CO), Hot Foot Stompers, South Metro Stars, Spares & Pairs, and Westonka Whirlers.  Also present were County Line Squares King Doug, Dakota Grand Squares Queen Rose Marie and King John, Hot Foot Stompers Queen Coni, Spares & Pairs Queen Jennifer and King Barry, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Education Directory Barry Downs who celebrated his birthday at the dance (see photo above), SDM Historian Al Martin, SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott, and SDM Membership Director Mary Kay Amberg.
