March 24, 2018 – Saturday Fun Nite Square Dance, Fargo, Caller Charley Huhtala.  Two squares with dancers from Country Twirlers, County Line Squares, Dakota Grand Squares, L & M Squares, and Valley Stars (see photo above) danced.  County Line Squares Queen Susie, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, and SDM Secretary Gael Zachman were present.  County Line Squares returned and claimed a Saturday Fun Nite banner.

March 23, 2018 – Gospel Plus Square Dance, Hopkins, Caller Tom Allen, Cuer Ray Belanger.  Six squares with dancers from Ar-Dale Dancers, County Line Squares (see photo above), Crystal Cross Trailers, Dakota Grand Squares, Dan’se P.A.C., Gospel Plus, Hot Foot Stompers, Single Circles, South Metro Stars, Square & Twirl, Spares & Pairs, Wandering Wheels, and Westonka Whirlers dancing.  Also present were Hot Foot Stompers Queen Rose, CSD Chair Vince Dahlheimer, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Secretary Gael Zachman, SDM Education Director Barry Downs, SDM Marketing Director Mary Kay Amberg, and SDM Historian Al Martin.

March 21, 2018 – Beaux & Belles “St. Patrick’s” Square Dance, St Cloud, Caller Tom Allen. Two squares with dancers from County Line Squares and Beaux & Belles (see photo above) dancing.

Roger & Bernadette McNeil wearing their USDA travelers badge and five dangles for dancing in all 50 states.  The final four – Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana – were completed in February.  They’ll each receive two registrations for the National Convention; one for dancing in 48 states and one for dancing in 50 states.

March 18, 2018 – Westonka Whirlers “A Royal Affair” Square Dance, Mound, Caller Bryan Bush, Cuer Ray Belanger (see photo above).  Eight Squares were present.

Anita and Bill Hauglid were crowned the new Westonka Whirlers queen and king.

March 18, 2018 – Harbor Squares Square Dance, Cloquet, Caller Abe Maier.  Two squares with dancers from Wadena Whirlaways, Harbor Squares, and County Line Squares were present (see photo above).  County Line Squares returned and claimed a Harbor Squares banner.

March 16, 2018 – Single Circles “Hobo Night” Square Dance, Maple Grove, Caller Tom Allen, Cuer Jane Simpson.  Ten squares were present, including dancers from Westonka Whirlers (see photo above), Hot Foot Stompers and County Line Squares (see photos below).

March 16, 2018 – Rays Promenaders “Irish Night” Square Dance, Brainerd, Caller Abe Maier.  Two squares with dancers from Wadena Whirlaways, Rays Promenaders, Friendly Squares, and County Line Squares were present (see photo above).

March 14, 2018 – Spares & Pairs “St. Patrick’s Day” Square Dance, Bloomington, Caller Larry Fruetel, Cuer Ray Belanger, Guest Cuer Robin Fryman.  Seven squares with dancers from Ar-Dale Dancers, County Line Squares, Dakota Grand Squares, South Metro Stars, Spares & Pairs, and Westonka Whirlers were present.  Also present were Dakota Grand Squares Queen Eileen and King Darwin, Spares & Pairs Queen Cathy, Westonka Whirlers Queen Katy and King Mark, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Treasurer Deb Hollimon, SDM Secretary Gael Zachman, SDM Education Director Barry Downs, SDM Historian Al Martin, and SDM Membership Director Mary Kay Amberg.  County Line Square (see photo above) already had a Spares & Pairs banner.
