December 10, 2017 – Ar-Dale Dancers “Santa Sashay” Square Dance, White Bear Lake, Callers Doug and Don Sprosty, Cuer Ken LaBau.  Santa and his elf welcomed the Sprosty Twins (see photo above).

December 6, 2017 – Spares & Pairs “Used Clothing/Designer Bag Sale” Square Dance, Bloomington, Caller Dick Rueter, Cuer Ray Belanger.  Westonka Whirlers (see photo above) danced with Spares & Pairs.

December 9, 2017 – “Basic” Blast Square Dance, Mound, Caller Dick Rueter.  Altruistic angels and “new” dancers from eight organizations – Dakota Grand Squares, Ar-Dale Dancers, Single Circles, Cambridge Corners, Hot Foot Stompers, Spares & Pairs, South Metro Stars, and Westonka Whirlers – participated.  Nine squares danced to the succinct yet entertaining teaching/calling by Dick Rueter.  Thirty-three students and forty-nne angels enjoyed the fun, the fellowship, and six tables of food!

December 9, 2017 – Koronis Nite Owls “Christmas” Square Dance, Paynesville, Caller Larry Johansen.  Four squares with dances from Rockin’ Country Dancers, Koronis Nite Owls, Jolly Twirlers, and County Line Squares were present.  Also present were County Line Squares Queen Susie and King Jim, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, and SDM Secretary Gael Zachman.  Rockin’ Country Dancers retrieved their banner (see photo above) and County Line Squares claimed a Koronis Nite Owls banner.

December 6, 2017 – Beaux & Belles “Heart Healthy” Square Dance, St Cloud, Caller Tom Allen, Cuer Sarah Klaphake.  Two squares with dancers from Beaux & Belles and County Line Squares were present (see photo above).

December 3, 2017 – Rockin’ Country Dancers Square Dance, West Union, Caller Larry Johansen.  Four  squares were present (see photo above) with dancers from Wadena Whirlaways, Rockin’ Country Dancers, Koronis Nite Owls, Jolly Twirlers, and County Line Squares.  Also present were SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann and SDM Vice Chair Linda Brotherton.

December 1, 2017 – County Line Squares “Ice Cream Social and Gary’s 75th Birthday Celebration” Square Dance, Monticello, Caller Abe Maier, Guest Caller Tom Allen, Cuer Ken LaBau.  Fifteen squares with dancers from Beaux & Belles, County Line Squares, Dakota Grand Squares, Dan’se P.A.C., Hot Foot Stompers, Koronis Nite Owls, Single Circles, South Metro Stars, Spares & Pairs, Square & Twirl, and Westonka Whirlers were present.  Also present were 12 non-dancing guests who had an opportunity to try square dancing.  Dakota Grand Squares Queen Eileen and King Darwin, Square & Twirl Queen Patti and King Jerry, Spares & Pairs Queen Cathy and King Brad, Westonka Whirlers Queen Kathy and King Mark, Single Circles King Mel, County Line Squares Queen Susie and King Jim, CSD Chair Vince Dahlheimer, CSD Secretary Ken Scott, Federation At-Large Patti and Jerry Ellingson, SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann, SDM Secretary Gael Zachman, SDM Treasurer Deb Hollimon, SDM Education Director Barry Downs, SDM Historian Al Martin, SDM Marketing Director Dee Scott, and SDM Membership Director Mary Kay Amberg were also present.  Beaux & Belles (see photo above) and Spares & Pairs retrieved their banners and Hot Foot Stompers claimed a County Line Squares banner.
