August 16, 2017 – Beaux & Belles “Ice Cream Sundaes” Square Dance, St Cloud, Caller Roger McNeil, Cuer Sarah Klaphake.  Four squares with dancers from County Line Squares and Beaux & Belles were present (see photo above).

August 14, 2017 – Gillespie Center “ABC” Square Dance, Mound, Caller Dick Rueter.  A square or new dancers was present (see photo above).

August 12, 2017 – Crystal Lions Cornfeed, Antique Car Run, and Hot Rod Show Square Dance Demo with dancers from Single Circles (see photo above).

August 12, 2017 – Turkey Trotters Square Dance, Worthington, Caller Bryan Bush.  Three squares with dancers from County Line Squares, Hot Foot Stompers, Jolly Twirlers, MN-DAK-OWA Squares, Spares & Pairs (Sioux Falls), and Turkey Trotters (see photo above) were present.  Also present were County Line Squares Queen Susie and Hot Foot Stompers Queen Rose.

August 9, 2017 – Spares & Pairs “Western Roundup” Square Dance, Bloomington, Callers Dick Rueter and Tom Allen, Cuer Ray Belanger.  Eight squares with dancers from nine organizations, including Westonka Whirlers (see photo above), were present.

Ted Blasko received his “Octogenarian” Live Lively Award.

Clem and Evonne Herman received their fourth place “Most-Active Dancer” award for dancing at 94 events January-July 2017.

August 4-6, 2017 – 58th Wisconsin State Square & Round Dance Convention, Hartland, Featured Caller Dee Dee Dougherty.  This was the first time they had a competition.  Only three squares competed.  Julie, Anna, Danielle, Pam Delaney, and John Bittner were part of the winning square (see photo above).  Also in the square were Chuck Aldrich from Iowa and Jimmie and Daniel Burss from Wisconsin.

August 4, 2017 – Gethsemane Lutheran Church “End of Summer Block Party” Square Dance, Maplewood, Caller Larry Fruetel.  Four squares (see photo above) had a fun time.

August 2, 2017 – Spares & Pairs Square Dance, Bloomington, Caller Dick Rueter, Cuer Robin Fryman, included dancers from Westonka Whirlers (see photo above).

August 4-6, 2017 – Granite Fest Square Dance,  St Cloud, Callers Jerry Junck, Dick Rueter, and Tom Allen, Cuers Ken LaBau and Sarah Klaphake.  Seven squares on Friday evening, nine squares on Saturday evening, and six squares on Sunday morning included dancers from Minnesota, North Dakota, Iowa, and Wisconsin (see photo above).
