May 7, 2017 – Rays Promenaders “64th Annual Paul Bunyan Jamboree” Square Dance, Baxter, Callers Larry Johansen, Abe Maier, Andy Flint, Myron Hollatz, Roger Lueth, Royce Nelson, Richard Miller and Phil Miller, Cuer Donna Stone.  Eight squares were present (see photo above), as were County Line Squares Queen Susie and King Jim.

May 7, 2017 – Ar-Dale Dancers “Going Fishing” Square Dance, White Bear Lake, Caller Tom Allen, Cuer Ken LaBau.  There were 8 squares from 13 organizations in attendance.  Celebrities were SDM Historian Al Martin, CSD Chair Vince Dahlheimer, Federation Member at Large Patti and Jerry Ellingson, Westonka Whirlers Queen Katie and King Mark Otterness, Bloomington Swirlers Queen Eileen Ernst and King Darwin Steffen, and Ar-Dale Dancers Queen Marlene and King Roger Sorenson.  Our annual banquet will be held at Gulden’s Restaurant on May 16th and our next dance will be June 4 at 2:00 p.m.  Thank you everyone for coming to dance with us.  Kings Club members (see photo above) and past and present royalty attended the dance.

May 5, 2017 – County Line Squares “Country Roads” Square Dance, Monticello, Caller Abe Maier, Cuer Sarah Klaphake, Guest Caller Denise Heinz.  Nine squares with dancers from Westonka Whirlers, Wadena Whirlaways, Single Circles, Jolly Twirlers, Hot Foot Stompers, Friendly Twirlers, and County Line Squares were present.  Also present were Friendly Twirlers Queen Lisa, County Line Queen Susie and King Jim, CSD Chair Vince Dahlheimer, and SDM Chair LeRoy Elfmann.  Friendly Twirlers retrieved their banner (see photo above).

May 3, 2017 – Beaux & Belles “Gone Fishing” Square Dance, St Cloud, Caller Abe Maier, Cuer Sarah Klaphake.  Six squares with dancers from County Line Squares, Hot Foot Stompers, Rockin’ Country Dancers, and Beaux & Belles were present (see photo above).  Also present were County Line Squares Queen Susie and King Jim.

April 28, 2017 – Gospel Plus Square Dance, Hopkins, Caller Tom Allen, Cuer Ken LaBau.  Hot Foot Stompers (see photo above) attended the dance.

April 28, 2017 – Westonka Whirlers Demo Square Dance, Schumann Elementary in Orono, Caller Larry Fruetel.   Students are studying the great U.S.A.  Part of their study is learning about the history and significance and technique of square dancing.

April 26, 2017 – Single Circles Square Dance Graduation, Maple Grove, Caller Abe Maier.  Nine new dancers (see photo above – four had schedule conflicts so are not pictured) – congratulations!

April 30, 2017 – Wadena Whirlaways Square Dance, Staples, Caller Larry Johansen.  Three squares with dancers from First City Squares, North Country Plus, Rays Promenaders, Friendly Squares, Wadena Whirlaways, County Line Squares, and South Metro Stars were present (see photo above).
